Sundays, except the first Sunday of the month 11am - 12:30pm Facilitated by Shelley Cataldo
Would you like to explore what Jesus said in his original language, Aramaic, before his words were translated into other languages? Would you be interested to know that “Our Father” from the Lord’s Prayer actually means “Birthing One”, and that “blessed” from the Beatitudes actually means “ripe”? If you love words and language; if you’re interested in the ancient Middle Eastern worldview Jesus spoke from; if you’d like to deepen your connection to the Holy – you might like to consider Contemplative Circle.
Contemplative Circle is a holy time of connecting with your Source and with like-hearted others doing the same. We are using a book by Aramaic scholar Dr. Neil Douglas-Klotz, Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus, in a format that includes teaching, guided meditation, centering prayer, silence and “Quaker sharing”.
When: Every Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month Where: Pathways Retreat Who: Adults, limit of 10 No registration needed. Please contact the facilitator, Shelley Cataldo to express interest and ask questions. Cost: There is no set cost. A donation for Pathways will be collected for use of the space.
