What is Group Spiritual Direction and Companionship?
Group spiritual direction and companionship explores the spiritual aspect of being human within a group setting. Typically, there are 4-6 group members and at each monthly meeting 1-2 members have space to share. Group members respond by noticing God’s/Spirit’s presence in what has been shared. The process is facilitated by a trained spiritual director/companion.
Groups happen at Pathways from September through June.
Inner Soul groups meet for six hours and include silence and solitude in the morning, lunch, and then group spiritual direction in the afternoon. This year groups for clergy and those experiencing transitions are in process.
Other groups meet for 1-2 hours and are formed by individuals expressing interest to Pathways or by a set group (such as a friend group) requesting facilitation by a spiritual director/companion.
Costs vary depending on the group.
