Saturday, February 22 10am - 12:30pm Suggested donation: $70-90 Facilitated by Charlene Mast
We pray in many different ways. This workshop explores a prayer practice that combines hand movement and sense of touch with focused scriptures. We’ll learn about various forms of prayer beads, practice praying with beads together and individually, and create our own set of prayer beads.
Participants will gain understanding of a prayer practice that includes movement, experience praying with beads with others and individually, and create a set of beads to take with them.
This workshop is open to nine interested individuals (including children over 10) who want to pray with beads and create their own set. Threading the beads on the wire requires some fine motor skills and accommodations can be made for anyone with difficulty if known ahead of the workshop.
