About
I have served in pastoral ministry in Portland Oregon, and Albuquerque, New Mexico for 15 years. I then made a vocational transition to psychotherapy and counseling following graduate school. After licensing and working at Samaritan Counseling Center in Albuquerque for several years, I went into private practice where I’ve been for twenty some years. My practice was focused on couples/relationship work, sex addiction, and of course individual work as well. I am now retired and have moved to Goshen, Indiana last year.
In my therapy practice I used a variety of modalities and training. Internal Family Systems is the foundational training that I received and used throughout the years. The most recent and most valuable training for couples was PACT, Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy. Another important training for couples was Terry Real’s, RLT, Relational Life Therapy.
I have loved the wheat fields of Kansas; the urban setting of Evanston, Illinois; the forests, high desert and coast of Oregon; and perhaps most of all, for sure the most recent, prior to moving to Goshen, was the desert, mountains, arroyos, canyons and sparseness everywhere in-between of New Mexico. I love wild birds, especially Sandhill Cranes, and all manner of fur, fins and feathers, and most of all my Australian Shepherd, Rio from the canine family. I am husband to Brenda, father to a grown daughter living in Portland, and to a daughter, son-in-law and grandson who live nearby in Goshen. Nature photography has been kind to me and I love photography oriented camping. Currently I am most grateful to the spiritual home accepting me at Pathways in Goshen.
