Pilot Program: Deep Leadership Community of Practice

Picture
Organizational leaders face enormous challenges. Change is constant. It’s as if leaders are piloting a river raft through constant white water.
The thriving leader in our century does not go faster, they go deeper. They seek to align their outer actions with their own deepest values and drives, with their true self.
The Deep Leadership Community of Practice provides rest, reflection, and renewal specifically for these organizational leaders. It helps leaders go deeper by exploring key ideas in the company of like-minded, supportive leaders, and nurturing their own inner work.

Who might be interested?
Members of Deep Leadership Community of Practice:
  • Are senior leaders of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations
  • May be persons of faith or “spiritual but not religious”, but intuit from their lived experience that there is a depth dimension to life that they want to explore and bring fully to bear in their role as a leader.
  • See the urgent needs of the world and want to bring their leadership capacities in service of making the world a better and more healthy place for all. Success is measured more by the positive impact they have on the world than simply increasing their personal wealth.
  • Recognize, with Gandhi, that they have to be the change they want to see in the world. They are committed to personal growth.
  • Seek connection and accountability with others in their journey.

If you check all of these boxes, this group is for you.

Why does this matter?
Organizational leaders face enormous challenges. It is hard enough navigating a global pandemic. On top of this we have a rapidly changing workforce with the retirement of the Baby Boomers and the rise of the Millennial generation, an uncertain and volatile economy, and a polarized political climate. Add to that the uncertainties of global climate and environmental crisis. Leaders find themselves in a state of turmoil and exhaustion. It’s as if they’re piloting a river raft through constant white water.
In this environment, how do you find your footing? How do you ground yourself in that which does not change? How create a workplace where employees thrive? How do you mobilize your resources to solve your piece of the problem?
The thriving leader in our century does not go faster, they go deeper. They seek to align their outer actions with their own deepest values and drives, with their true self. They do their shadow work, and know the strength that comes from experiential humility and curiosity.
What benefits can i hope to experience?
The Deep Leadership community of practice helps leaders:
