Individual Retreats

Pathways offers a variety of retreat spaces for personal retreats. Use the form at the bottom of this page to request retreat space.

Cottage

A cottage is available for individuals, providing space for rest and reflection. This is time to put aside cell phones and calendars and to be attentive to the presence of God in your life. The cottage may be reserved for a few hours or a full day. It is equipped with a propane stove for heating in the colder months. It is furnished with a desk, chair, and a twin-sized bed. A dry sink includes drinks and snacks and screened front porch provides a perfect place to listen to nature. It does not have running water or electricity, so lighting is done the old fashioned way with lanterns and battery-powered lights. Guests are welcome to use the refrigerator, microwave and bathroom in the Retreat House. Here is a list of local restaurants.

Retreat House Lower Level Rooms

There are three cozy individual retreat rooms and restroom facilities in the lower level of our retreat house that may be reserved for a half- or full-day personal retreat. The names of the retreat rooms are borrowed from Reinhold Niebuhr's well-known Serenity Prayer:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Each of the rooms holds three chairs (one that reclines or folds flat), a desk, and a kettle and selection of hot beverages.

Please note that we are a day retreat center and do not provide overnight accommodations in the retreat house.
Guests are encouraged to bring a bag lunch and may use the kitchen. Meals are not provided.
Here is a list of local restaurants that offer both eat-in and carry-out options, and may provide delivery service as well.

Suggested donation:
Half day: $20-25
Full day: $35-45
24-hour use: $60-70

Gift certificates are also available.
