Linda Lehman Thomas
Linda Lehman Thomas graduated from Goshen College, Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and is ordained for ministry by Mennonite Church USA. Linda is a certified spiritual director and for 12 yearas was a minister/trainer of Gestalt Pastoral Care (GPC), a contemplative, awareness-based form of spiritual care integrated with gestalt therapy. Her interest in trauma led to certification as a TRE provider, an educational perspective that retrains the body how to release tension and bodily-held trauma.
Linda understands her ministry as one of accompaniment, particularly accompanying people who find themselves in places of pain or difficulty and are seeking God’s healing presence. She has particular experience and interest in healing from trauma, grief, and harm caused by the church.
She has been Steve’s life partner for 39 years, is the mother of four children and grandmother to two. She is an active member of Walnut Hill Mennonite Church. Daily she tries to do something enjoyable that is primarily nonproductive. These things include playing the piano, singing, walking in the woods, attending her son’s sporting events, and playing games.
