In the Christian monastic hours of prayer, the noon prayer takes place during the Hour of Illumination (sext). In this service, we name particular people, places, and situations for which prayers have been specifically asked. There is also opportunity for those who wish to receive or share in the ministry of the laying-on of hands for oneself or for another person. This is the same service that happens Tuesday evenings at Iona Abbey, Scotland.
Requests for prayer may be given to any Pathways staff or written down and placed on the prayer tree in the Gratitude Room throughout the month. Requests for prayer may now also be submitted by clicking the button below.
