These sessions will explore ways to bring more joy into our lives. Through contemplative practices such as meditation, creative expression, walks in nature, visualizations, and attention to our thought patterns, we will open more fully to times of joy in our lives. These practices will invite us to see more clearly the opportunities for joy in and around us, enhanced by group discussion and times for silent reflection. Session 1: Embracing Joy through our Presence Session 2: Embracing Joy through our Senses Session 3: Embracing Joy through our Gratitude, Wonder, and Compassion
Following this program, participants will have practices to carry with them that will enhance their experiences of joy on a daily basis, enliven their lives, and strengthen their resilience, even during difficult times.
