Liturgy of the Hours

Praying the Liturgy of the Hours has been one of the foundational spiritual practices at Pathways Retreat and connects us with the ancient tradition of praying throughout the day that is a part of many Christian and other world religions. Seven times over a 24 hour period we are invited to pause, listen and become aware. It is a way of re-connecting with ourselves and with God who is the Source of our Being. Here is a brief introduction to Praying the Liturgy of the Hours and a diagram of the Hours. Click on each of the Hours below for a prayer sheet that will guide you through the practice.
