Spending time in nature is known to make us happier, reduce stress and increase our well-being. As we prepare to move from summer into fall, this four-part series will offer us time to wander outdoors as well as experience a harvest of creative spiritual practices, reading/writing prompts and weekly liturgies to welcome the new season. Inspired by the natural environment, we also will use our own stories and memories and consider how they might help us better relate to ourselves, others and the world around us.
Participants will:
discover a new or renewed relationship with nature;
use personal memories and stories to better understand perceptions of oneself and others;
develop the body’s senses as gateways to the present moment; and,
identify internal and external sources for connection, imagination and wisdom.
If the suggested donation is a barrier to your being able to attend, please contact Janell
