As a spiritual director or pastor, you’ve heard people exclaim, “I don’t understand!” “Why did this happen?” “Where is God?” “Who am I, now?” How can you walk with people through these questions when you are sometimes asking the same questions? A helpful tool is the framework of transitions. Karla Minter, spiritual director and pastor, will be your guide for this half-day retreat, “Transition Journeys.” Join us for meaningful input, experiential prayer practices, story, reflection, group discussion and solitude.
Following this program, participants will:
Identify the three essential movements of transition and common responses.
Apply these three essential movements to your role as spiritual director or pastor as you listen to the stories of those you encounter and invite healing and hope.
Reflect on these three essential movements within your own life, fostering greater self-awareness, healing and wholeness in your call as a spiritual director or pastor.
When: Monday, February 12 at Pathways Retreat Gathering at 9 am Session runs from 9:30 until noon Cost: Suggested donation of $45 - 60 Limited to 12 participants
