Update on April 5, 2024: The Pathways Board of Directors joyfully announces a successful end to “The Land is Calling” Capital Campaign with over 109 supporters joining together to reach the $155,000 goal! Construction of the pavilion is set to begin August 12 with a projected completion date of October 18. The native prairie will be planted sometime during the winter, so a year from now new plants will be rising from the now-barren ground. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!
Map of the planned projects
Since 2008, Pathways Retreat has been a destination for those seeking sacred space for rest, reflection, and renewal. The 2016 purchase of an open, expansive three and a half acres of abandoned pasture adjacent to the existing property, gives Pathways a unique opportunity to provide more outdoor space to practice its mission and support its values. After listening to guests to discern what this land offers, the Board of Directors is excited to raise the final $25,000 for this project.
The total cost for the project is $155,000 and much of that has already been raised from generous early donors, pledges from current and past Pathways Board of Directors members, and from memorial funds, with one early donor pledging $25,000 in matching funds. Pathways needs to raise $25,000 to take full advantage of the matching funds and meet the total $155,000 goal. As Pathways continues to grow and imagines future generations of spiritual seekers, the Board of Directors hopes to build on the success of Pathways' first 15 years and guide it toward the future.
The land is calling...calling to be more fully restored and integrated within Pathways' ministry of rest, reflection, and renewal. Raising these funds will enable guests to more fully experience the restoration of their souls, in support of our vision that all may know love and wholeness.
Pathways launched the public phase of this capital campaign on January 29, 2024 with an event at Bread and Chocolate. Click here for photos from that event and to see portions of the presentation.
